All cat owners have been
through it.....you see something indefinable and utterly disgusting
on your rug (never on tile or linoleum). A hairball is the usual
culprit. Or you hear your cat gak-gak-gakking off in some back
bedroom, and you just KNOW you won't make it in time to put kitty on
a surface which is easy to clean!
Vomiting is the cat's natural response to ridding the
body of indigestible matter, such as fur or feathers. As much as
cats groom, there's bound to be hairballs forming in the stomach.
Cats are fastidious eaters, and so it's rare that they have a
gastrointestinal upset from eating unsuitable foods (like dogs do
sometimes). However, sometimes they still get sick.
If your cat is vomiting, and there are no hairballs
present, it may be an upset stomach. Most cats will get over a
gastrointestinal upset within 24 hours. However, if it continues, is
severe, there is diarrhea present with blood in it, or the cat is
just generally unwell after a day, seek veterinary assistance.
We recommend a product referred to as Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover 32 oz
because it addresses both the 'stain' and 'odor' issues
simultaneously.Note: At
the time of this writing, four of their 32 oz refill
bottles are cheaper than their one gallon refill bottle. |
