Greetings Fellow Cat Lovers,
Welcome to my website!
I started this website simply because I am crazy. Crazy about
cats, domestic cats that is. I have had cats around me from
the time I was born, and I have had many feline companions over the
years. I am a cat lover. A catless home, to me, is bleak
and incomplete. I have read many books on cats, observed them
countless times over the years, helped with birthing kittens, helped
bottle-feed and raise the kittens when the mother left them behind,
dealt with their problems including health and behavioral issues,
and was the beneficiary of many warm and happy times with them.
I find that they are
nature's most perfect creature, all things considered. Supreme
hunters, able to live on their own without our help, they choose to
share our lives because they want our companionship. Each and
every cat I've ever owned (I have lost count years ago of how many)
was an individual, with a distinct personality and little personal
quirks....just like a human. They become members of my
family...certainly not as important as my own children, but
definitely close enough in my own heart for people to label me a
"crazy cat lady".
Aside from dealing
with behavioral problems, kitten care and cat care, I have attempted
to include material which is not typically presented on a cat
lover's websites...things like how to give a cat CPR and artificial
respiration, what to do if your cat is hit by a vehicle, how to give
a cat a pill, useful cat links, cat products, a cat directory,
thought-provoking famous cat quotes and poems, a table of the real
ratio of human to cat years, interesting facts about our feline
friends, their behavior and the unique cat and kitten stories which
I hope you'll enjoy…not to mention the very adorable kitty pictures
I have personally selected for maximum cuteness! So, I
encourage you to stay awhile and browse through the pages we
present, and I hope that you'll come away with something you never
heard of or read before.
